Materials Modeling and Simulations for Nuclear Fuels Materials Modeling and Simulations for Nuclear Fuels

This workshop aims at stimulating research and discussions on modeling properties of ceramic and metallic fuels and related materials of interest for nuclear fuels applications. Multi-scale models and simulations, involving various methods, such as CALPHAD, SOLGASMIX, Finite Element Method, Molecular Dynamics, Monte Carlo and First Principles calculations are welcomed. Presentation of experimental results in support of modeling and simulation is encouraged.

The talks and discussions will be grouped by the following subjects:

This workshop follows the American Nuclear Society Annual Meeting (June 1-5 in San Diego, California). We hope you will visit Santa Fe for the weekend and then join us on Monday, June 9 for this stimulating two-day event.
